Do You Really Need a Face Mask ?
Last week you may have heard that the Australian government has released one million face masks into the national medical stockpile. This was a response to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, who announced that GP’s needed urgent access to these supplies. The majority of this supply was released to general practices and pharmacies, in areas that were heavily impacted by the recent bushfires.
Elsewhere in Australia, many are trying to gain access to these masks believing it to be a protective measure from the coronavirus. But is a face mask really necessary?
