Dingo Fence Divide Visible From Space
Australia’s dingo fence spans more than 5000kms across three different states. It’s been an impenetrable force since the 1880s but new research suggests it might have done its job a little too well. Dingoes may have been eradicated south of the border but its enabled kangaroo populations to overgraze the land.
2SER’s Sean Britten spoke with Dr Adrian Fisher, UNSW lecturer and geographer, to better understand these ecological processes.
