Discovery of a Pre-historic Skeletal Remains of an Amputee

Many people believe that in the early stages of human history there weren’t many medical advances that propelled the history of medicine. However, the recent discovery in Bornea South East Asia of a skeletal remain have seemed to break this perception. The skeletal whilst intact was missing its left foot and the lower part of its left leg and after examination, researchers concluded that the foot bones weren’t missing from the grave or in an accident, but were carefully removed. The Monday Daily was joined by Dr India Dilkes-Hall from the University of Western Australia who was one of the leading archaeologists during this discovery to talk more about this topic!
