Discrimination in the gig economy

They’re the apps we’ve got on standby. Need a ride? There’s Uber. What about a late-night feed? Deliveroo, Foodora, Uber Eats, take your pick. But how about a thought for the drivers and cyclists actually working these jobs?

Gig work may be all the rage at the moment, but its problems are more often than not dismissed or overlooked in place for its convenience and efficiency for both employees and the people using these apps.
