Should dogs be allowed on Sydney trains?
If you think train rides are already fun, how much more fun would they be if we allowed dogs on transport?
We chatted with Dr Jennifer Kent, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning on the benefits of allowing our pooches on public transport. It could be useful to owners who don’t have access to a car, taking their four-legged friends to the vet for checkups or even just a change of scenery for the daily walk.
Lots of people responded positively for this change, some even relating to the hilarious posts out of New York where they allow dogs on trains only if they fit in a bag. Could this be the latest fashion trend for Sydneysiders?
