Doomsday Clock Chimes At 2 Minutes To Midnight
Over the long weekend, the Doomsday Clock has moved forward by half a minute to its current time of 2 Minutes To Midnight. In case you are unfamiliar with this clock, it was created and maintained by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in 1947 to symbolise how close the Earth came to complete armageddon, nuclear or otherwise. The closer It is to midnight, the more likely it is that life on Earth is wiped out.
