Eating for a healthier planet
The latest Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change report indicates that we have about 12 years to make sufficient change in order to prevent cataclysmic rises in global temperature. With Australian students protesting about climate change and the ongoing riots in Paris, there seems to be a tight focus on governmental action and policy. But what about individual agency like daily food choices. Might that be just as important as fossil fuels versus renewable energy sources?
We spoke to Mark Berriman from the Australian Vegetarian Society to hear his ideas about individual action on climate change.
