Economic growth: threat to culture?

Culture is very important for the health of our society. It is the culture that shapes people into who they are as they gain knowledge. Through our culture we develop a sense of belonging, personal and cognitive growth and the ability to empathize and relate to each other.

Today we were joined by Kate Shaw, an urban geographer from The University of Melbourne talking to us about threats from economic growth to local culture.
