Each week I’m joined by our regular correspondent, Professor Ed Blakely to talk about what’s going on in the land of the free and the home of the brave, our big brother nation America. It’s been a week of troubles for President Trump, with the sacking the acting Attorney General of the US and foreign affair issues. On home soil in Australia, Malcolm Turnbull was raked over the coals, with a phone conversation with President Trump concerning the asylum seeker deal that first went through under the Obama administration. Turnbull was reportedly told by President Trump that it was “the worst deal ever.” Ed Blakely joined The Daily in studio to discuss some of Trump’s policies and controversies.
