Egyptologists from Macquarie University team up with Ubisoft for a new Hieroglyphics Initiative

Assassin’s Creed Origins has triggered the creation of a new hieroglyphics translation tool. Ubisoft, creators of the video game, engaged with experts to help them include genuine hieroglyphics in their game, and in doing so learned that it is a painstaking process. Now, Ubisoft are teaming up with scholars from Macquarie University on a new project called the Hieroglyphics Initiative.
