Elise Bauman & Almost Adults
Almost Adults is a new comedy screening at Queerscreen tonight and tomorrow night, so popular they had to add an extra session! It follows the adventures of two friends, one of whom – the character Mackenzie played by the seriously delightful up-and-coming Elise Bauman – has recently come out as a lesbian to practically everyone except for her best friend Cassie, and the tension that secret causes in their friendship. It is a really, really funny film, it’s got an incredible fresh perspective, and The Daily was lucky enough to catch up with Elise in studio.
