Emo the Musical Interview with Neil Triffett
Did you go to the high school from hell? Neil Triffett begs to differ. He’s the director/writer/composer behind the recently released movie Emo the Musical, a dark comedy set in a school so harsh you can be expelled for crying.
It stars Benson Jack Anthony as Ethan the emo, a snarky but sensitive guitarist trying to make the most of his new high school despite the specters of self harm, gay conversion therapy and evangelical Christians.
