Employers responsible for traumatized journalists
A couple of weeks ago, a landmark ruling in the Victorian County Court found The Age newspaper to be responsible for one of its journalist’s mental health. As a part of her work covering violent crimes for the paper, the journalist had developed a form of post-traumatic stress disorder and successfully sued her employer for compensation.
