Jerome Doraisamy

At the end of 2011, like many young people, Jerome Doraisamy was letting off steam at a music festival after a stressful year.

Jerome had been working part time, studying full time, as well as spending over 30 hours a week volunteering for the Law Students Society.

It was during the festival that Jerome realised he wasn’t having fun, and believed he was suffering from depression. This was the beginning of a journey that has led him to publish his first novel- The Wellness Doctrines.

The Wellness Doctrines is a self help book for law students and young lawyers, that has practical tips and anecdotes to best survive law.

Jerome studied Law and Communications at UTS. He speaks to Ellen Leabeater.
