Matt Cleary

Matt has worked in humanitarian aid across the world, from Niger to Australia. Through his efforts with organisations like Médecins Sans Frontières, the United Nations World Food Programme and St Vincent de Paul, he has helped countless individuals when they needed it most.

Matt graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Nursing in 1998 and a Masters in Health Services Management in 2005, both of which he has used to provide medical aid and to coordinate emergency interventions.

Matt is now working for the Alliance for International Medical Action (ALIMA) in Senegal, so we couldn’t get him back on Broadway for the show. But over Skype, Matt shared the highs and lows of his fascinating life so far.
