The Reivers were an American pop band from Austin, Texas that knew how to jangle. Formed in 1984 as Zeitgeist, they changed their name to Reivers from the title of the William Faulkner novel. The band released four albums, all of which received critical praise but not much commercial success, before disbanding in 1991. We’ll kick off this episode with two tracks from them plus excellent tracks from The Hoodoo Gurus, The Pale Saints, The Fall and June Brides.
