A delightful show this morning full of great music, storytelling and some silly jokes about fish. I was joined in the studio by my beautiful friend Kamyar (dream state series regular at this point + pictured on the studio floor after a killer show). We worked for days and nights, tirelessly to put together this insanely good playlist (in my personal opinion). It was a very collaborative and interesting mix of tracks – I genuinely think it’s one of the show’s best playlists yet. Music and friendship are two things that lend to each other so well, I genuinely think that being able to share your favourite music with those you hold closest is so lovely, and I’m so grateful for Kamy’s willingness to share and discuss. I love radio! I love music! I love my friends!
Big moments for me this week include the new Phoebe Go album! (which is great, as expected) and LUNCH by Billie Eilish (I’m going insane over this song actually!!??).
