Groove Therapy :: 12:00pm 10th May 2024

Having made records under various aliases in the early 90s, Alistair Gibbs made his first release under the Nebraska name in 2000. Since then, he has built a solid reputation with releases on respected labels like Heist, Delusions of Grandeur, Razor-N-Tape, Rush Hour, Mister Saturday Night, and on his own Friends & Relations imprint.Losing none of that on-the-one-heavy disco funk he is known for, Nebraska’s latest record that I featire on the show this week suggests nothing short of the Art Of Noise sharing a booth with Jean Michael Jarre in a long-forgotten French disco!

Let me know you’re tuned in…

I love to know that you and your friends are listening to the show. Hit me up on the email with any shoutouts and requests. I might not always get to them through the program, but I’ll always do my best to mention you in the coming weeks.

The new release from my guest Nebraska takes a few notes right out of the early 90s. Think Jean Michael Jarre and Art of Noise, with a modern twist and you have yourself a deep dancefloor cut.
