Special mentions this week go to a few local lads who I have had the pleasure of working with in my hometown of Sydney. Local heroes Random Soul get another spin on the show this week. The boys are constantly putting out a constant schedule of solid House music that is right up there with the best of them.

Also a shout out to Tasmanian duo Southlight (one half of the duo having recently lived in Sydney for a number of years working the club circuit – and I had the pleasure of working with Damien Goundrie behind the counter at Acetate Records back in the day). The duo handed me an unreleased EP of amazing club tunes this week, and I just had to feature “Body Soul” on the show. Fingers crossed that the EP sees distribution real soon because these are certified dancefloor sureshots.

This week I play a fun party rap tune from Cam’ron. The sample is obvious, but also quite effective as a half time Hip Hop beats – and I don’t recall “Roxanne” ever being sampled in a Hip Hop song before.
