Okay this week I was joined by singer songwriter Wayne Connolly. If you don’t recognise Wayne from his songwriting with “The Welcome Mat”, you may recognise him from his band “Knievel”. As a producer and recording engineer Wayne has also earned himself four Arias. We discuss being the Australian band to ever play a Big Day Out Festival, the inter-band workings of The Welcome Mat,  songwriting for Knievel, working with Lee Ranaldo while recording You Am I, producing Vision Valley for The Vines and working with Grant McLennan of The Go-Betweens on his record “In Your Bright Ray”.
