I don’t know how people found the initial lockdowns to be a time of creativity.

I was definitely not having a good time.

Too much time inside and alone with your own thoughts wasn’t ideally how I wanted to be spending my weeks, and it felt like it would never end.

But then I came across a band which was the injection of adrenaline that I needed and a catharsis for emotion that I didn’t know how to process. That group was Marilyn Maria.

I was excited about music again, and they quickly become a lifeline through the pandemic.

So tonight on The Band Next Door on 2SER, it’s a pleasure to have a couple of members Marilyn Maria come on the show ahead of the launch of their 2020 Baby: Part 2 EP on Friday at Waywards.
