This 2nd installment in a tribute to one of the greatest figures ever in jazz again focuses on his compositions. But this time with other artists or groups that he was a part of, namely his time in Miles Davis’ “Second Great Quintet” and going into Bitches Brew and then into the first four albums from pioneering fusion band Weather Report. All tracks, as always, on the mellower and introspective tip.
