Equality in the Workplace
Did you know that Australia is 36th in the world when it comes to gender equality in the workplace?
This means many women are uncertain about how to balance family life and their career- only 6% of mothers return to fulltime work within a year of giving birth, and nearly a quarter of women are choosing to leave their jobs before childbirth.
So why are so many women choosing to leave work and how can we better support those who want to stay?
