Escape From Pompeii Exhibition
The explosion of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD began one of the first ever recorded rescue missions of civilians by the military. At the Maritime Museum at the moment, the world of Pompeii is being brought to back to life in a world class exhibition that includes hundreds of found objects and a complete immersive 3D recreation of that fateful day. Will Mather, who curated the Escape From Pompeii exhibition, joined Matt to talk about what we can expect to discover from the collection.
