1. Container : A Box Can Change The World

Where: Australian National Maritime Museum

Cost: FREE

You can literally ‘step inside the box’ to enjoy our first-ever outdoor exhibition as you explore six colourful containers scattered around the museum like giant lego pieces. Each container one  part of six part exhibition and reveals the secrets of how the shipping container has shapped our modern world, changing the way we produce, shop, eat, work, and live.

 

2. Spanish Film Festival

When: 17 April – 6 May 2018

The 21st Spanish Film Festival brings 25 transporting films celebrate the culture and cinema of Spain. The Festival continues its celebration of visionary directors featuring 4 contemporary Spanish films all helmed by women.

 

3. Barangaroo School Holiday Workshop

When: 17 April – 22 April 2018

Where: The Cutaway, Barangaroo 1 Merriman Street

Cost: Child: $22 ; Supervising adult: Free

Bring kids to Barangaroo for Creative Planet – a brand new workshop program for ages 6 to 16 years that teaches techniques of parkour, gymnastics and acrobatics.

For six days only, leading physical theatre company Legs On The Wall will transform the Cutaway at Barangaroo Reserve into a pop-up jungle gym. Participants will leap, jump and vault in a safe and supportive environment guided by some of Australia’s best acrobats, breakdancers and parkour artists.

The two-hour workshop also explores creative skills with Legs On The Wall’s Artistic Director Joshua Thomson.

No acrobatic skill is required – Creative Planet is an inclusive workshop where all skill levels  welcome. With each workshop limited to small numbers, booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment.
