Wool Week

When: 26 May – 3 June 2018 10am-5pm

Where: Westfield City Pitt St Mall ( between Nespresso and Zara )

Expect to see a burst of colour as she brings the centre alive with the magic of wool!!

Australia’s wool industry will be in the spotlight at Westfield centres. The Woolmark Company celebrates its annual Wool Week campaign to promote the very best wool, wool- rich apparel and home textiles from Australia’s beloved brands and retailers.

Westfield centres will showcase Merino wool in a curated selection of exclusive fashion, activewear and homeware events and activations. Kicking things off with a bang is Westfield Sydney, which will offer Sydneysiders a chance to see ‘extreme weaver’ Natalie Miller live in action. She’ll create a live knitting installation in the heart of the city. Natalie live in action is on 26 and 27 May.


Vivid Lights Festival

Vivid Sydney is a festival of light, music and ideas.

Vivid Light transforms Sydney into a wonderland of ‘light art’ sculptures, innovative light installations and grand-scale projections for all to enjoy – for free. It is a magical celebration of light-design excellence and the world’s largest outdoor ‘art-gallery’: a unique Vivid Sydney experience.

Vivid Light engages lighting artists, designers and manufacturers from around Australia and the world to illuminate, interpret and transform Sydney’s urban spaces through their creative vision.
