Experience of carers in the ED
Recently on Think Health we looked at how nurses view older patients in the emergency department (ED). Now, we are flipping the discussion, to look at how older patients and their carers view their experience in the emergency department.
Jane Stein-Parbury is the Professor of Mental Health Nursing in UTS Faculty of Health. She found that transport and communication are some of the barriers to quality care in the ED.
