Extra Funding for Tutors Offered by Victoria and NSW
With a new year school starting this week, students are being given extra help by the NSW and Victorian Government. Students who fell behind during COVID-19 last year in lockdown are able to receive extra tutoring in Victoria and NSW. The government has invested more than half a billion dollars to help kids in these states get back on top of their education. Recent data has shown that students in NSW have fallen considerably, with disadvantaged kids being hit the hardest.
2SER was joined by Jordana Hunter from the Grattan Institute to speak more about this new scheme.
