Facebook Emoji ‘Reactions’

Last week, Facebook rolled out new ‘Reactions’ emoji – in the addition to the regular ‘thumb up’. A redesigned ‘Like’ button now gives users an ability to select from one of five animated ‘reactions’ representing emotions like “love”, “haha”, “wow”, “sad” and “angry”. This innovation is expected to help people express themselves better on Facebook. And so far, the global Facebook community has expressed mixed reactions to the new feature.

So why do we need new emoji buttons? Celline Narinli speaks to Max Matthess, senior account manager from HelloSocial, social media marketing agency.
