Fake Art Harming Indigenous Artists

Report released by the Productivity Commission on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders suggests that First Nations cultural and intellectual property need a greater recognition and protection, as Australia has no national licensing or production guidelines to protect Indigenous art within commercial design and digital spaces.
The report recommends a much bolder conversation and suggests introducing of new policies to tackle fake art issues and and support Indigenous artists.
