Farmers and Foodies join to aid mental health

After being buffeted by an extraordinary amount of disaster events in the last few years, Australia’s rural people are having a lot of mental challenges.
The Black Dog Institute has supported many farmers and rural people in this difficult period, now a group of chefs including Manu Feildel, Jason Roberts and Sarah Todd have teamed with celebrities like Adam Goodes and Dami Im to raise funds for the Black Dog.
Bianca Tarrant -Co founder of Our Cow describes how after devastating fires they come up with an idea to market direct to customers and get fair prices for farmes after disaster. The Campaign #PlateForAMate uses great food recipes from real farm produce to help people connect with loved ones.
