Faulty Towers Dining Experience at the Sydney Opera House
You’ve been invited to dine at the Sydney Opera House. You will be served a 3-course meal by the Faulty Towers team, which means you’ll probably get teased, you’ll probably get the wrong order, expired food, or no food at all… sorry no refunds.
Based on the show Fawlty Towers, a comedic series released in the 1970s, the Faulty Towers Dining Experience is a unique immersive theatre experience bringing back the iconic characters Basil, Sybil and Manuel serving a 3-course meal. This is a show where you step inside the TV series and see it from the inside out. Fully immersive, highly interactive and 70% improvised where the audience join the action, becoming the guests who play along with Basil, Sybil and Manuel. Serving you 2 hours of comedic entertainment, it plays from February 12 – 17 at the Utzon Room in the Sydney Opera House.
Presented by Interactive Theatre International and directed by Alison Pollard-Mansergh, Danny was joined in the studio by Basil (played by Matthew Robson), his wife Sybil (played by Monique Lewis-Renyolds), and everyone’s favourite Spanish waiter, Manuel (played by Sean Harrison).
