FEAST: An evening with Mr Qin
Soul of Chinatown was created in the wake of Covid-19 to “bring the glory back” to one of the city’s most esteemed dining districts and home to some of it’s best chefs.
Qin Xiao Tang opened the first Chinese Noodle Restaurant in Chinatown more than 30 years ago. Twelve restaurants later, he has become a feature of the strip for his signature hand-pulled noodles, braised eggplant and for serenading diners with his violin.
He has partnered with Soul of Chinatown to bring the first in a new series of dining experiences titled Chinatown Sessions including an exclusive one night only set-menu.
Local cellist Zenith Chae will join him in creating a soundscape to complement the delicacies served up into the evening.
