The Feature Album this week on 2SER is from Alex Izenberg.

It’s the Californian’s first record with the full Exiles band (and fourth overall), and it’s a beautifully paced, experimental glide through Izenberg’s complex sonic world, taking in esoteric Americana and warm psychedelic rock.

It’s a masterful record that utilises a wealth of collaborators and friends including Weyes Blood drummer Jay Rudolph, vocalist Marina Allen, saxophonist Colin Kupka and many more. A true no-filler one, that also doubles as a homage to the more mystical and sunlit side of 70s west coast pop.
