Instruments! Languages! Time signatures! Band members! There’s many types of many things that typify all-world jazz collective Sonic Interventions and their debut LP Do You Remember, the Feature Album this week on 2SER.

Formed in 2020 and growing rapidly as a live group, the Berlin-based transcultural collectives’ debut record is a live recorded, free flowing trip through afrobeat, dub, electronica, Xhosa and jazz improvisation. With membership spanning 5 continents and 16 countries, Sonic Interventions draw from a constellation of inspiration and experience to piece together an increasingly fractured world. Joy and anger finds itself in equal measure, often at the same time.
