Dorsal Fins – Star of the Show

The Feature Album all this week is the superbly eclectic new album from Naarm/Melbourne trio Dorsal Fins.

The musical union of Ella Thompson, Jarrad Brown and Liam McGorry, their third LP is resplendent with rich harmonious vocals intersect with subtle drums and a constant playful experimentation.

Recorded during Melbourne’s protracted lockdowns, this is a superb release that draws a line a line between airy and surrealist pop, electronic rhythms and bright psychedelic soundscapes. Highly recommended.
