The Feature Album this week on 2SER is Home, from multi-ethnic vocal ensemble A Song for You.

A Song For You are a Berlin-based choral ensemble, lead by Noah Slee as well as Malaysian – Australian director Dhanesh Jayaselan. The full group features over fifty members from various parts of the world, and the music they perform attempts to capture the rich tapestry of the cities music while providing a platform for underrepresented voices in the city. This is even more poignant in a time where anti-immigrant, far right political parties are making gains across Europe.

Home, their debut record is an incredible work of harmonised vocals set to sparse jazz and classical arrangements that are heavily imbued with soul, gospel and RnB.
