The Feature Album this week on 2SER is Luxury, by Kosmetika.

Kosmetika feature members of other esteemed Melbourne groups such as Eggy, Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice and Delivery, and fans of any of those will find plenty to love on this. A group that are as at ease with diy aesthetic as higher end studio production, their third album goes full throttle through bright, pulsing new wave, punk, shoegaze and Krautrock. It’s a cracker of a record underpinned by equal parts excellent musicianship, emotion and oddness. Highly recommended.
