Manning Fireworks by MJ Lenderman

The Feature Album this week on 2SER is Manning Fireworks, the fifth studio album from MJ Lenderman. 

The prolific North Carolinian has long had an ear for squeezing the absolute most out of of the classic sound template of Americana and blues, and this is no different. Recorded in short stints between tour dates at Drop of Sun studios in Asheville, Manning fireworks tackles topics including alcoholism, love, loss and is underpinned with wry laconic humour.
