FEATURE ALBUM

No Photographs by Workhorse

An enchanting psychedelic folk album, Workhorse’s debut is shining with atmospheric tones, brushed drums, violin, organs, riveting vocals and a dreamlike haze, influenced by the Australian landscape, queer western films and apocalyptic dreams.

No Photographs was written and performed by Harriet Fraser-Barbour, who utilised Adelaide’s first lockdown in March 2020 to experiment with creating band music as a solo musician.

It’s a fantastic cinematic trip and a masterclass in evocative mood setting with just the right touches of mystery and strangeness , and the Feature Album this week on 2SER!

Out now via Dinosaur City on limited vinyl and digital.
