The collaborative project of Ali Molica and Cody Munroe Moore, The Morning Star deliver a beauty with Songs of the Morning Star, their debut and the Feature Album on 2SER this week.

Recorded at Stranded Studios in the Illawarra, the south coast four piece weave an excellent alt-folk collection that combines plain and direct storytelling with experimental deviations in sound and arrangement and an acid-tinged take on Americana throughout.
