The ABC is always a highly contested issue during Budget season and this year is no different. Josh Frydenberg’s first budget delivered on Tuesday night included $4 billion for the national broadcaster over the next three years, with the ABC receiving $3.2 billion and SBS to recieve the remainder.

But is that enough to sustain the ABC? Tess Connery spoke to veteran of the ABC newsroom, former host of Stateline, and Walkley Award winning journalist Quentin Dempster about the future of the ABC.
