Federal Budget Sought To Get Businesses Running

The COVID pandemic hit businesses hard, with many having to close. Business is central to the national economy and Last week’s Federal Budget sought to get businesses back up and running, with measures like extending the instant asset write off and introducing a new patent box tax cut.

Soofia Tariq asked Professor Roy Green, Chair of UTS’ Innovation Council and Former Dean of UTS Business School how the budget seeks to help business, innovation and research and development.
