Federal Government funds Victorian Quarantine Facilities

It was announced a few days ago that the federal government will help fund the building of a dedicated quarantine centre in Victoria. Many are questioning why it’s only now that these facilities are being built and stressing the need for all states to make constructing purpose-built quarantine facilities a priority. The Monday Daily was joined by UNSW epidemiologist, Professor Mary-Louise McLaws, who firmly believes that the move is central to the containment of breaches of COVID-19 into the community.
