Feeling Pressured to Keep Busy During COVID-19?
The world around us throttles us with a lot of information and a lot of things to constantly catch up on. We are in an environment in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic where one is constantly pressured to do something worthwhile like reading a book, working on a new project or exercising with what little space you have instead of taking a little time to lump it on the couch and soak up some Netflix.
To talk to us about the way peer pressure can make us doubt ourselves, and push us when we’re already on the verge of burnout, we spoke to Dr Monique Crane, a senior lecturer at Macquarie University and a registered psychologist.
