FFA Congress Structure Reforms Fail To Pass Through on Deadline Day
The FFA’s Annual General Meeting yesterday failed to see congress structure reforms pass through in accordance with the wishes of FIFA. The FFA had been given until November 30 to pass through reforms in order to make the voting structure more democratic, but a deal could not be struck between the FFA, the state federations, the A-League clubs and the PFA player’s union. With a FIFA normalisation committee set to come in and take over the FFA, dark clouds hang over the future of the game in Australia. 2ser Producer Luke O’Brien brings you this report.
