Filipino fodder at the Doonside Festival

In this edition of the Weekly Feed, food fanatic Alison from B-Kyu spills the beans on the Doonside Festival. With an eclectic coastal and rural atmosphere, the Western Sydney town boasts some great Filipino eats with a Spanish influence. You can wander among the bric-a-brac stalls selling homemade goods and stock up on giant, crispy pork empanadas at the Pinoy Kitchen. Alison recommends the mouth-watering range of cakes at the Starlight bakery, including purple ube (sweet potato) cakes, bright green pandan cakes, braza de Mercedes, sans rival and sputniks.
