Financial vulnerability on the rise in Australia

With jobs and growth being on the Aussie agenda for more than a year, how has the financial landscape changed to benefit ‘everyday’ Australians?

A new study conducted by the Centre for Social Impact has found that despite two decades of GDP growth, declining income inequality and increasing financial capability, large amounts of Australians are still finding themselves financially vulnerable and struggling to make ends meet.

Kristy Muir, Professor of Social Policy and Research Director of the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW, joined The Daily to discuss this topic further.
