When you think of Jamaica you might think of Bob Marley and reggae music. A genre synonymous with peace, justice and equal rights. So how then did Jamaica earn such a terrible reputation that Time magazine once ran a headline, “The Most Homophobic Place on Earth?” ABC Television Foreign Correspondent’s Matt Davis was in the tiny island nation recently to document how Jamaica’s reggae music has a dark side.
