Over the last week, 11 COVID cases were recorded in Katherine and Robinson River, Northern Territory. This was a first for the state – with no COVID cases previously being reported in any of their remote Indigenous communities.
The news of the outbreak sparked concerns for community leaders and Aboriginal advocates, regarding the impact this will have on the Indigenous residents of the area.
